Default anyone doing ww online? (new to finding a plan, and actually sticking to it) :/

Hello all, I have been peeking around here, and was thinking of trying ww online. Has anyone found success doing this, instead of meetings?
I found a site where I could join ww online for 3 months at $59.98.
I also seen a at home kit for either $100 or $130.( I looked for coupons but couldn't find any). Im not sure which way to go. online, or a at home kit. I figured if I get the at home kit, I can visit here for motivation, and support.
I have found everyone's weight loss on here very inspirational, and I hope very much that it works for me too, as I have gained sooo much weight, and I am so miserable and unhappy!

Thanks for any help.

since the program changed, I am starting off with the online membership. It is nice because it easier to look up stuff than searching through the books and calculator. But I have purchased the books (once you are a member online you can purchase the books and stuff). Once my three month membership is over I am going to go back to doing it at home with the books.

congrats on your weight loss, you have done this through ww?
Yes, I just realized that ww has changed, maybe online to get the basics, then purchase the books as well, them do it at home would be a good idea.
Thanks!

I do WW online and I LOVE it! It is very nice to have the E-tools right there, plus I have the WW/e-tools app on my I-Pod touch so I can calculate points and track while I am away from my computer as well. Very convenient.

I also joined WW online for 3 months to get the books. I wasn't sure about the calculator. Are you finding it helpful in figuring out point? I may end my membership when the 3 months are up. Although I find it nice to keep track of everything. I thought about going to meetings, but $39.35 a mo compared to $17.95 a mo online is a little steep. However, I enjoy using the 3tools and is worth what I pay to have it. So I know I'll continue doing WW at home and probably keep it after 3 mos online membership is up.

I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and 3fc WW threads has been very helpful in my making the decision to stop low carb and to go back to WW. So I hope we can get a WW at home group going to encourage each other.

I did ww online and lost 40 lbs a few years back. I'm back at it now. Meetings just aren't for me. Not at this stage of my life anyway.

I've been using the etools since Dec 1st and am down 6 lbs so far. I like tracking online and the program is working better for me than calorie counting. I don't attend any meetings.

I'm getting ready to start WW at home in a couple weeks and I think a support group would be great!

I have lost my weight with ww I love it because you can still eat some of what you want you just have to plan and portion control. I have never gone to meeting...just was not me.

I am just starting back to WW online with the Simply Filling Technique. Trying to find all the help and support I can. Knowledge is power!

I like the online tracker when unsure of points. I also log in my written one. Something about that number makes you think. I just can't get myself to count everything, that is why I do the SFT.

ok... so reading yalls posts has convinced me to do it online and at home. I was afraid I wouldn't have any success if I did it by myself. But you all have encouraged me.
