Thumbs up Keep track of your own monthly exercise here! (December)

During my cardio one day I was thinking how interesting it would be to know how many minutes I exercise in the period of a month.

So I am posting my exercise minutes daily in this threat and you are welcome to keep your data here too, so we can keep ourselves motivated.

I started it last April and I was shocked to learn that in 3 weeks I worked out over 3,000 minutes!!!!

What a motivation!!!
It has helped me to keep going, because I want to see the minutes go up each day in this threat.

You can even break the months down and learn how many minutes you worked out each week (and use the info to analyze your weight loss in that period) or maybe after 12 months you could add all the numbers you’ve got monthly and see how many minutes you exercised during the whole year.

You don’t really have to post every day, as long as you keep track of the minutes from previous days and post it at once. It is up to you...

PS: On December 15th I will be going to Brazil on vacation and will be there until January 9th. So I wont be posting in that period (I don't think). I will try to exercise though - but it is my vacation and if I can’t do it I will not stress over it (or at least I will try - I am already freaking out about my weight gain and lack of exercise)


But I’ll be back on January... grrr.... it is so hard to get back in the groove, after you relax for a while...
But I’ve done it in the past 2 years and I’ll do it again!!!
I will need you guys to motivate me when I am back... Please come to my rescue!!!!

I'm in for December! My goal is 2000 mins. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it will be better than November.

Great plan! I easily lose track, and this keeps me focused. Breaking it down in week to week will help me try to remember to keep track.
Belezura..your vacation sounds amazing!

Just did the Body Pump yesterday!!!
I was willing to get some cardio after work, but I worked from 7 am to 9h30pm (went to the gym at 5h45 am) and was exhausted by the time I left the office, and I was too tired to make it to the gym
oh well.... I guess it was a day off for cardio....
It would be ok with me but the only reason I really wanna had get that done is because I have a vacation coming up and God knows if I will be able to work out or not... plus... I know for sure I will not be controlling my eating....
But I still have 15 more days before leaving... so Let’s keep moving chicks!!! 1...2... 1...2... 1...2...

I think I'll give this a try. I'm not going to set a specific goal since this is my first monthly exercise thread and this month will probably be a little different than usual since I will be traveling to my parents' house for Christmas.

12/1 - 60 min. Bodypump and 45 min. treadmill > 105 min. total

12/4 - 60 min. Bodycombat > 165 min. total

12/6 - Frustrated because I should be at BodyCombat now but I have stupid bronchitis and can't breathe. :-(

I want to give this a go! Trying to up my exercise for Dec, sooo... this is not counting them stretching that I do.

My goal is 2300 minutes this month (that’s an hr 5x a week)

12/1: 30 mins walking+ 30 mins strength
12/2: 30 mins walking+ 30 mins strength
