Exclamation Skinny on WW New Progam

WW is changing how they count points on foods. More emphasis on quality. Starchy veggies are going to have points where as fruits and other non-starchy veggies will be zero points. There will be new books coming out.

I've been purposefully waiting until the new program rolls out to rejoin online.

I would love to think this new program is going to be for our good. However ,now we will ber required to buy even more stuff like a new calcular=tor, cookbooks. I know we can always stay with the old program but everyone wants the latest. I may just resist though because I have tons of money invested in the present way. I will wait and see how people like the changes I think. They could at least offer a trade in program where we could recoup a bit of our money.

Maybe I am just cranky tonight because I am wanting something to eat but points are all gone. Sorry, will be eager to hear all the latest.

Ah!! Me too. Glad I didn't stay up late for it. I wonder just how long "a few hours" is

Having to buy the new stuff is tough. However they do have it slightly discounted right now. I think that is their way of making it a little easier to deal with. Good luck!!

if you buy the kit (the dining out companion and food guide, coupons etc) there is a coupon in there for a free calculator so that might help some too, even though I'll be buying a couple calculators, I want one for home and my purse. I heard the kit is 35 bucks or something like that, I'm not even sure my meeting will have them tomorrow, last week my leader said they hadn't come in and she wasn't sure they'd be in for this week, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

The deluxe kit was $34.95 at my meeting and did come with a coupon for free calculator. Also we could buy a calculator for $5.95. The kit also had a book of coupons in it so if those are things you want (for example, $5 off of the new food scale) then it is a good deal.

Questions:

If I wait for the new program kit will I get a kit in the mail with my membership? Or do you pay extra for the new kit to be sent?

Will the new kit include a calculator or do I need to purchase that separately?

Thanks,

Dawn

The new plan is totally worth it. I have already lost 3 pounds in 3 days.

It is funny with the new plan I do feel for the most part that I am eat more than I did before. I like it so far....the only bad part is I did eat out yesterday and because I splurged I used most of my weekly points but it is nice that you can turn in activities points so I still have a little cushion if I eat a couple of extra points the two days. It can be a little overwhelming at first but seems good so far
