Default Weekend Accountability

We can do this. It's only 2 normal 24-hour days. What are your weekend goals?

Mine are:
*Eat on plan, phase 1.5
*exercise at least 100 minutes over the weekend
*get my veggies in

My goals are to stick with one serving
To give away all of the leftovers
To eat on plan today (tomorrow is our Thanksgiving, I am allowing myself a small plate of food)

I can't exercise because I am basically sick... as a dog (but hygenic while I am cooking)

I will allow myself a few off plan things on Thanksgiving Day, so I have GOT to stay on track between now and then!

My weekend goals are very similar to yours Cyndi, I'm going to eat on plan and exercise for an hour each day.

I'll also spend some time carefully planning meals and snacks for the coming week. It's pretty easy when it's just Fergie and me, but we'll have a house full of family this week. My mom and my daughter will be here for most of the week and my son will be here for 2 or 3 days, too. I enjoy fixing everyone's favorites while they're here but I need to make sure I've got lots of on plan foods around for myself, too.

my goals are to get my workout in today and eat on plan. we're having people over to watch fights tonight, so there will be noshables - my biggest goal is restraint with those.

Football tomorrow - it always seems like Sundays are a downfall. I get snacky. I bought new holiday teas and my goals are to use those when I'm having snacky cravings. maybe i'll make some roasted chickpeas.

i've been so good and on plan this week, why break that?

I'm going to have two problem areas this weekend but I'm determined to overcome both. Today I am making a cheesecake for my GS2's birthday and of course his favorite recipe isn't SB legal so I am going to pop a sf throat drop in my mouth, make that sucker and have the sink full of nice hot soapy water to immediately dump the empty bowl and utensils so there will be no chance of licking. Tomorrow we are going to our DD2's for dinner and all I have to take is a nice green salad to go with whatever she is serving. I will also be taking some leftover lentil sausage soup for me. So there is no reason I can't have a completely on plan weekend.

I remembered this thread and packed us a healthy lunch to take to the museum with us today.

I remembered this thread and drove by my favorite off plan restaurant this afternoon, and instead popped a sbd friendly casserole in the oven.

Tomorrow,(Sunday), is a TG celebration with my Mom. We're going out for brunch. My goal, as always, at this locale is to eat in stages.
1. Veggies and salad
2. Veggies and entree, making the best choice possible
3. Fruit for dessert, 1 SF cookie and 1 bite of DH's cake
Fortunately, I've done this venue many times on SBD and it's just a regular thing now.

Went to Winter Farmers Market, a new spice store, the mall & Trader Joe's as well as lunch out with my sister and didn't do too badly. A few tastes from several food vendors, but I passed over the big cinnamon roll I was eyeing, had a nice salmon salad and came home to eat an OP supper. A good Saturday for me!

One day down and one to go. Yesterday I ate all on plan food, got plenty of veggies in and exercised. Unfortunately I ate more than I needed but it's still an improvement. On to another successful day!

Good for you Cyndi! I did good on plan eating too but had the opposite problem, didn't get all my meals/snacks in. But I did ok and will do good today too.

Did well today & yesterday. I think it's because I know there will be lots of temptations later this week. One day won't hurt me. It's the problem of getting back on plan the next day, etc.

I made it through without any slips, although I was sorely tempted to indulge in a pint of Starbucks Peppermint Mocha ice cream that was offered to me this afternoon. Previously, I would have indulged, but remembering this thread really helped keep me on track.

Same as yesterday - all food on plan but nibbled when I didn't need to. Exercise came in at 75 minutes not 100. I did exercise both days though and that's an improvement (I also cleaned, cleaned, cleaned)

WooHoo, it's almost bedtime and I've made it! Just got home from GS2's birthday dinner/party and stayed completely on plan! Took my leftover lentil turkey sausage soup and salad and did just fine. Even helped hand out the cake and cheesecake fo family without ever licking my fingers. Proud of myself. Thinking about this thread helped me when the temptations came calling.
