In the past month (since October 4th, dealing with the surgery and breast biopsy and all), I put on 14 pounds but I am happy to report that in the past week and a half of returning to exercising and calorie counting I have lost 11 of those pounds, wooo!!

That is great news that you have worked so hard at losing it again! One of my favorite weightloss bloggers has been maintaining a huge loss (110-ish pounds, if I recall) for four years now. She still has 20+ pound swings in her weight due to life events sometimes, but always gets in back under control. That, to me, is successful maintenance. Her biggest goals are health, and getting those swings to be smaller and smaller

That stress-monster can do a number on our health. I am so, so glad you could get yourself back to your plan and drop most of the gain. Carry on...you are doing great.

no one can say that they will not fall off the wagon at some point, but its about getting out butts right back on it. That's what's important. Go girl!

What a tough few weeks you had there. I can't even fathom it.

What is it they say? "You don't drown by falling in the water, you drown by staying there." Sounds like you picked yourself up there quite nicely.
