Hi chicks - yesterday was a healthy on plan day - I am so grateful (it's four days now).- We had company over for coffee yesterday morning ... DH got muffins and our friend brought Tim Hortens donut holes. I did not eat one bite of the goodies. I held my coffee cup in with both hands. And was willing to give the leftovers to the neighbor. YAY

breakfast - egg whites and toast, lite cranberry juice, morningstar bacon

lunch - mushroom soup, rice cake with lite cheese

snack - apple and peanut butter

dinner - cabbage soup, bread

snack - grapes, cheese, rice cake

working on:
plan/log/measure/count my calories
lots of water
stretches and strengthening
eat seated only
no seconds
fork down between bites
slow mindful eating
taste the food
journal
remember why
meditation

I hope everyone has a great day.

Hi Ladies- I haven't been here lately because first I was having computer/internet issues and second I have just been semi depressed and discouraged because I have been stuck for 5-6 weeks at the same weight. Finally this morning I am down 2 pounds and I am so excited!!!!

I have pretty much stayed on plan through this plateau and continued taking my exerise class so hopefully now that I am down 2 the scale will continue to move down every week! Plateaus SUCK!

Plan for today is to stay under 1800 calories and to go walking or on a bike ride since there is no exercise class on Tuesday.

I hope you all have a great day!

TXmary - I am so glad to see you posting. I am so happy that dumb scale finally moved!! I know you can hop right back into the swing of things. I wasn't posting much for a while when my health stuff was crazy. So, I understand.

Mj - I am grinning from ear to ear hearing that you got in your workout and didn't accidentally over do it. YAY

Shout out to anyone passing by.

Good Morning everyone! Today will be a struggle to stay OP, but I will do my very best. It is my bday and I know they are going to have snacks at our staff meeting....when I am in charge of snacks, I buy healthy stuff. When there is unhealthy stuff, I choose not to eat it. EVERYONE knows this, so I am hoping there will be healthy choices. I don't want to hurt their feelings, but I am not going to eat a bunch of junk just because it is there.

Tonight we are going to one of my niece's field hockey games, which will be fun. Lots of family will be there--it's her first home game, so she'll have her own cheering section. Dinner will probably be pizza, but I will plan for that and work it in.

I have a healthy lunch packed. I am drinking LOTS of water today.

TXMary--CONGRATS!!!! Glad to see you here again!

Beverlyjoy--Great job!! You are doing great! Thanks...I went to the gym again last night and didn't overdo. I lifted some weights and did some cardio. I felt up to doing more, but didn't. I even remembered to ice when I went home.

Have a great OP day!!!

Hi everyone. I've been a little MIA lately. It's just insanely busy with my kids right now and work has been difficult at best. I hope everyone is doing good with being on plan. I've been ok, except for exercise. My car had problems, so was in the shop for awhile. I couldn't get to the gym and I just can't get motivated at home. Bad excuse!!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone!

Diane--So glad you popped in to let us know how you are!!! Hope work stuff is ok soon.

Beverlyjoy--You are doing great! I see you are using your crockpot..me too! This weekend's recipe will be: crockpot beef minestrone. I've made it before it is really good.

My team is awesome!!!! They are finally getting it! Ok, they still have their candy drawer (seriously, its a HUGE desk drawer that they all contribute all kinds of candy too)....I just stay away from it and am glad it's drawer--not out in plain sight! BUT....for my bday snacks, they brought fruit to our staff meeting. I was SO pleasantly surprised!!!!! AND everyone ate it!

Last night was fun. My niece's team lost the game, but we had fun cheering them on anyway.

No gym tonight (but that was planned). My legs are a little sore from my workout the other night, but nothing bad.

Have a great OP day everyone!!!
