Default Kelp noodles!

http://kelpnoodles.com/

Does anyone use these or has anyone tried them before? I picked them up on a whim at Whole Foods, and I dont know how I feel about them. I did a cold salad with sesame dressing and cucumber, but the crunch is very different. I think Im going to use some broth and these and have a bowl of soup here in a few and see if they are different when warmed a bit.

A whole package is like 18 calories!

I use Shiratake noodles. They are 20 calories a serving too--40 for the whole bag.

Bravo to you to be trying stuff out. For me, it takes some experimentation and a whole lot of getting used to. It is so worth it though.

I have not tried the kelp noodles- the one time I saw them at the Korean market they were a bit pricey. I do shiritake on a regular basis- the clear ones, not the tofu ones. A bag is 99 cents at the Japanese market around the corner. I will look again for the kelp. I have gotten to the point that I crave these things and am not even that excited about the heavier wheat noodles. Who would have thought?
