Smile Delicata Squash

Yay!! It's back in season. As sad as I'll be to see some of the summer fruits gone, boy am I glad to see some of the winter squashes back.

And the delicata is perfection. I love the size of it and of course the flavor. It's my own little personal squash. I just bake it in the oven with a little sugar free maple syrup and some cinnamon. Yumm-OH. You can also add diced apples, chopped walnuts and a few raisins.

Never heard of it and will have to look for it in my produce section. My produce world used to be so limited. Finding new produce is interesting!

I consider myself quite knowledgeable about veggies in general, but I too have never heard of this, so I must google to get a picture and now hunt it down.

I LOVE squash and can't wait to try this!

Returning from googling this squash. I've seen it before and just wanted to add it can also be referred to as peanut squash or bohemian squash.

I love that squash too. Hard to whine about no potatoes enjoying that.

I love squash but I'd never heard of this one. I have a carnival squash baking in the oven right now!
