Default Am now a slender person....

I've been in the 120s for over a week now, so have decided I can say that I am in maintenance range. Several people have commented recently on how nice I look or that I am a "thin" person.

I decided this spring that I wanted to be be slender and to live the life that slender ladies live. Here I am, and it's going well.

Took some diligence and research.

I'm enjoying life and am very glad to be keeping my WOE and my daily movement and exercise.

In 1999/2000, I gained 60+ pounds. I lost 50 of them in 2000/2001, and stayed within 139-150 until this spring. In the spring, I noticed I was above 150, and something from very deep inside, strongly said, "It's time!". I am now in the 120s and glad about it.

Reading the posts here, asking questions, and thinking through what I've read, has helped me tremendously. It feels natural to post here and I wanted to wait to write this post until it did.

Thank you very much for having such a great Maintainer's Forum!

Welcome! Glad to have you. Do you calorie count or what method did you use to lose your weight?

FoodObsessed, thank you for your kind post. I hope to see you here soon. I wish you much success.

Editing to state simply, I eat according to the Lacto-Paleo food recommendations explained at Dr. Kurt Harris' site, PaleoNu.

Hi, Karen, thank you for the kind thoughts.

I follow a Lacto-Paleo food plan. You can read about it here:

All the best to you.
