Default Vegetables on Induction

I have been on Induction for almost 10 days now.Is it possible to eat to many veggies while on induction?I eat salad greens, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, water chestnuts and snow peas.I don't seem to be losing that much weight.Only 3 pounds so far.Not sure what I am doing wrong.I get plenty of water and have cut the caffeine out.Any suggestions would be great.

Clanori, I have found that I need to keep my protein intake moderate and watch how much I eat. If I eat too much protein or too much altogether, I gain weight.

Your vegetables are low starch. Unless you are having some kind of reaction to something, they don't look problematic to m.

Dr. Harris explains how protein stimulates an insulin response, and how that means fat storage, here:

Hope this helps a bit.

Whay r the carbs on water chestnuts? I thought the were high? Are you keeping your total carbs at 20 and including carbs for all the veggies?

Are you counting each oz of cheese as 1 carb?
