Default We completed the Shred!!

This thread is for all of my lovely ladies who've completed Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. We made it through 30 days of Jillian and are now challenging our shredded bodies in other ways!

Many of the ladies here are from the 30 day shred group and want to remain accountable to each other. Anyone is welcome.

Basically this is so we can all stick together and remain accountable regardless of what program we're doing.

Hey Amyleigh!

I'm still here and still shredding, gosh I feel like I've never be done! I took several "rest" days though. I'm trying to talk myself out of taking one today. I already did w5d1 of C25k this morning so I did exercise. Today should be day 5 of Level 3 for me so I'm almost there.

Hi!

I wasn't very active (lurking...) on the previous thread but it's been nice to tag along... today is day 30 of the 30DS for me! I'm thrilled!

My plan next is to do the 30 day slim down which combines Jillian's videos on a schedule. Anyone done/doing that?

heya ladies!
glad to see everyone's doing well! sorry i disappeared, i was away for the weekend. shopping spree in king of prussia i got me a suit from the limited for 118 bucks!! and it looks faboosh!

as for me, still doing power 90. i missed friday and was going to make it up yesterday but was so tired from shopping it didn't happen. i think i need to set up a chart like i did for the shred so i can track my daily workouts to keep on top of them. i'll probably create one and post it here so anyone else doing power 90 can track them too.

so since i skipped my cardio and ab ripper yesterday, i decided to jump onto exercisetv on on demand and see what was up there...there is a goddess bellydance cardio workout and though it's not hard core cardio, HOLY ABS, BATMAN!!! i def broke a sweat, which i wasn't really expecting, because it's a slower paced workout. i loved it!!! i know if i hadn't done a lot of ab isolation work prior to this and known how to isolate my upper abs, lower abs, and hips, i would have been really discouraged though. i do suggest everyone try it, but go into it with an open mind. it can be a bit cheesy, so take it for what it's worth

I had kind of a rough week motivation-wise last week and ended up only doing 3 days of P90. I started out the week like a champ today, though and did the 1-2 Strenth and W1D1 of C25K. I'm going to try to do that on the days I do the strength circuits on P90.

Hi!

I got myself a new Nike sports bra as a reward for finishing the Shred :-)

And I started as planned with the 30 day slim down. First day was level one of the shred so easy-peasy but I did sweat and some of the strenght moves I could really feel. It was nice!

Can't wait for day 3 to try one of Jillian's other videos which I have never even seen yet!

OMG... just quickly popping in to say I did Jillian's "No More Trouble Zones" and I can't believe I made it...

That is one serious workout, I feel like even my face muscles have exercised today...

loving the pain though!

nicely done, anna (and congrats on the sports bra i got myself one too for finishing the shred, and some short little booty shorts to use for my before/after photos). i've never done no more trouble zones, but it's on my list. pain is a good thing, as long as it's not injury!!

hdallas, i understand what you mean by lack of motivation. i skipped 2 days of power 90 this week. opps. for some reason it's so much easier to skip this than the shred. i guess because we don't have as much accountability here as we did in the other thread? i don't know where everyone went. i know a few of us finished up and said they wanted to continue. i miss everyone

I'm still here! One more day of the shred, I know it's taking forever! How is the C25k going? I did week 5 day 3 today, it's the 20min run with no breaks, it was hard but I did it!

hi ladies!!!

im so proud of all of you completing the shred!


I've decided to finally admit defeat on it, i made it to day 26 but never got round to doing the last 4 days oops, kept telling myself i'd go back to it but its been about a week and a half now so im going to admit it

I hope you'll let me post here even though i didnt finish haha (technically i did do over 30 days if you count my rest days)

Anyway the reason i stopped was really because i upped my walking to about 2 hours a day and i jog on and off on that walk it's kind of like my very own tailored c5k except i think it must be longer than 5k, after the walk everyday i'd want to do the shred again but i was just exhausted and didnt want to hear jillians voice! Oh and i'm 4 pounds off my first goal SO EXCITED

You girls are amazing for finishing it!

I'm finally getting around to posting my before/after Shred pics. Bear with me, both sets were taken right after working out so I look a little rough, LOL!!
I lost 11 lbs and 13.5 inches. I still have a way to go, but I think I'm off to a good start!
