I'm hungry late at night with no points left!
Hey all. So, I'm doing weight watchers at home and I'm just wondering if anyone knows some good zero point snacks for when I get the late night munchies. I stay up pretty late usually and if I eat dinner at 6:30 I get hungry by midnight. I just got back from the gym, am hungry and have no more points left!! So, any ideas on zero point snacks?

yeah...jello is good...some veggies like celery, bell peppers(raw) have no points values to them either so it just depends I can look for some more and get back to you on this.

Or make a pot of that WW garden vegetable soup to have on hand for times like this; it's 0 points for a cup, warm and filling.

Agree with the above. Are you not using activity points? Maybe you should consider that if you are hungry after going to the gym. I know some people don't like using them but your body does need fuel.
Or maybe you could make it a point (no pun intended) to save a couple of points for a high protein snack late at night.
I like to stay up late as well, and while I don't necessarily get hungry late at night I definitely do have the munchies. I make myself go to bed instead of eating.

I like diet coke, coffee and tea with Splenda. You could also use some of your WPA.

I would either save points for that purpose, or eat celery or something like that. Or just go a little over sometimes. I've heard of people "cycling" every week, and they say it helps! (Also-- I've found that something warm, like herbal tea, something like that... makes you feel full and won't ruin your day b/c you used too many calories/points/whatever)

Thanks everyone! The soup is a really great idea. I really am HUNGRY when I go to bed lol. I ignore it too and just sleep, but my stomach growls lol.
I don't use my weekly points allowance at all lol. I don't like to because it seems pointless(again, no pun intended haha...I'm a dork)
I'll make some of the soup and get some jello. Thanks guys!

Maybe some hot decaf tea? I like that at night, and there's so many different herbal flavors.

I've never been to a weight watchers meeting but my sister in law who goes told me that you will lose more if you eat all of your 35 extra points for the week. Seems weird but that is what she told me she had heard. Does anyone else know if that is true? If that is the case Sunshine, you could eat alittle more everyday...and don't we all love that thought:P

Hey itsnikki, what's cycling? I get hungry at night too. Even if I don't work out. I can't seem to fall asleep on an empty stomach.

If I get hungry at night, I eat a bag of popcorn that's 100 calories... with the fiber, it's only 1 point. Or I eat some sugar free popsicles... 0 pts.

You can toast a slice of low calorie bread and use spray butter for flavoring. Sara Lee makes an amazing 45 calorie 100% whole wheat with honey bread. 0 points for one slice, 1 point for two slices. The spray butter has 0 cals, but the bread tastes amazing without it.

I've heard that as well about the weekly points. Your body needs to eat them because otherwise you might be starving yourself, which can slow metabolism and weight loss.
Eat an apple! It's only 1 point : ))

If I'm hungry at night I like to have a mini bag of popcorn (100 cal - 1 pt) and a dill pickle washed down with a can of Diet Dr Pepper.
