Default Did anyone see "I lost 100 lbs" on TLC last night?

I saw this quick little documentary on 4 people who've lost 100 lbs on TLC last night. I was pretty interesting. They all did it in slightly different ways, but the message was pretty much the same - LIFESTYLE CHANGE!

It really made me want a tummy tuck though at the same time it made me feel better about my naked body, I actually don't look quite as bad as I think naked comparatively. (Except for the body builder girl - she looked unbelievable! Not a stretch mark or flap any where!)

I saw it, too. It was interesting , but nothing compared to my own experience. I would like to have a tummy tuck, though but other health issues make that not likely.

Thumbs up How about you, N, you've lost a lot too?

How about you, you've lost over 120 lbs? Wow! That is a whole person besides. I too enjoy watching those kinds of shows. It shows you that we can do this.

This is the most that I have lost and yes, I finally decided to "Sh** or get off the pot!" Once I really made the decision and made it all or nothing things really changed.

We can do this if we only get out of our own way!

My bf actually insisted we should watch it last night...all was fine until I started crying when I saw the girl who had the loose skin after having the band surgery, I couldn't watch the rest of it. I've lost 125lbs now and I still have 35 left to lose and loose skin is a huge fear of mine; I'm already starting to see some. Its not so much having it, but not being able to do much about it without surgery.

Yes, I watched it. I think their stories were amazing though for me, it was disheartening about the extra skin. I have it and I will never be able to afford surgery so yeah, made me a little sad but the show was good all the same.

I happened to turn to TLC just as it was starting last night so hubby and I watched it. Listening the way they described the amazing accomplishments of those people made me realize how rare it is, and it made me more aware/appreciative of my own accomplishment, I could have been on that show! A lot of us could have!

I also felt better about my loose skin. Mine's not nearly as bad as that of the woman with the lap band, if that's saying anything at all. It also made hubby appreciate what a tummy tuck can do for someone! I think that it's something I would consider in the future.

I saw it too! It was pretty interesting. I also watch The last 10lbs BootCamp on SLICE, does anybody else watch that?

I wish I had known this was going to be on, it sounds like it was really good.

I looked online and the tv schedule does not show it coming back on for the next two weeks, and I looked on the TLC site and they only showed it airing last night. Maybe they will change/update this, or maybe it is just not set to air again for several weeks (?). But I'd like to keep an eye out for it, too.

I have lost 90 pounds and have plenty of loose skin.As long as I keep my clothes on no one sees it. HA! I can't afford a tummy tuck either and other health issues keep me from it. But you know what ? We look a lot better than we did before !

Aww, no, I didn't see it I would've liked to, though! I'm sure it'll be on again at some point. They usually always rerun those specials.

It was a real eye opener! I realized how lucky I am that I have lose weight and ended up with really firm skin! I haven't lost anywhere near as much as them, but wow! They were truely inspirational!

I did...it made me nervous about loose skin, like everyone else. My mom kept insisting I am young (I am 24) and my skin will be fine. We'll see, I suppose.

I saw half of it last night as well and I was literally applauding the first segment with the couple. The second segment with the young lady that had the lap band had me a little concerned. For some reason I was convinced the she hadn't really made the "lifestyle change", mainly because her parents had concerns. I hope she keeps it off.
