After casting all sorts of spells and incantations, I finally managed to get an appointment with my GP today for the results of my blood test last week.
My cholesterol:HDL ratio is down to 3:9. Both HDL and Triglycerides are 1.5, my overall cholesterol is down to 5.8 from 6.6 in 5 weeks. 5.8 is, apparently, the average UK person's level.
No statins for Rosinante!
She was also very impressed with the weightloss (12lbs in 5 weeks).
She is chasing up the foot specialists, because I'm now walking so badly on my right foot that I run a danger of putting my knee and hip out.
She is chasing up the mental health team to see why they will not fund counselling.
This doctor runs 40 minutes late, Every Time, but she's worth the wait, she's so good.
A good day.
