Size 10 Women are the Happiest
Apparently US size 10 women are the happiest, followed by 12, then size 8, while the unhappiest are US size 22, then 18, then 20.

Wow, who would have thought? Come to think of it, I was really happy when I was a size 10! I always think I'll be happier when I'm an 8, but I could be wrong....although I would love to find out! That's very interesting...thanks for posting this article!

Interesting...
Though I'm a size 8/10 now and I wouldn't say I'm the happiest... wonder where that came from? =/

Yeah mee l to, I'm an 8/10 and I think I'd be happier at a 6/8 just because it seems like I stick look a little thick at times. Then avian it's pretty clear from my posts lately that I'm having some image issues so who knows.

Here's a slightly more official version of the story. It's from a survey of British women.

I think the most important thing is that they weren't just focusing on weight (they weren't only asking "are you happy with your weight?") They were also asking about other aspects of their lives to find out who is happier in the big picture.

Good lord, Kate Winslet is a beautiful, beautiful woman! Inside and out apparently. Thanks for sharing that article. While surprising at first, I get it. A lot of people (not everyone!), the ones who push themselves to be skinnier than that are either insecure or spending too much time achieving that look to enjoy it. My mother has always been a 10-12, and while I've always wondered why she never wanted to lose a few pounds, she's always been extremely happy and confident with who she is. Thanks mom, for being a good role model. Shortly, I will start stealing your clothes again. Hehehe....

I loved being a size 10 because thrift stores are full of great size 10 clothes.

Taking this with a huge pinch of salt (as I would any research done by a cereal brand!), I am a UK size 14 (US 10), although sometimes I wear a UK 16 or a UK 12 depending on the store! I am pretty happy most of the time!

This is probably just coincidence, but I actually was happy at a 10, and now I'm an 8 and feeling a little more bummed, which is so weird! Maybe there is some truth to that...I hope to get in a 6, which hopefully I will be happy at, lol.

Awesome! I have always loved Kate Wisnlet and thought she was beautiful. I'm a size 12 now and think I'll end up around a 10 when I'm finished which is just fine with me
People have to realize that a small size isn't always realistic with their body type. I'll never be a skinny size 6, I'm just not built that way, I've always had boobs and hips and I agree with Kate... it's natural.

In 2007 I got down to a size 10 (with a few size 8 things thrown in) and weighed 165 at 5'9". I was pretty darn happy, but that was mostly because I could run long distances. It was also nice just to be in a "normal" size, and one that meant I didn't have to buy large or XL all the time (now that I'm back in 2X and size 18, it REALLY sounds good). I never imagined I'd get down to a size 10, but now I'm trying to get back there! I don't think I would ever get smaller than an 8 with my height and body type.

I was never happy at a size 10. I think that may be because I am short and a 10 is still very chubby on my figure.
