Just wanted to say I'm nearly half way- 48lbs gone !!
This is a momentous milestone as I have been here several times before. This time I feel I am in control.
I have just returned from a 3 week vacation in Florida. It was hard, but easy at the same time to stay away from temptation. The thing that really got to me was not being able to weigh myself (I used to be a daily weigher). However after a few weeks I felt relaxed, content in my choices and able to cope without the scales. It was actually quite liberating, and taught me a few lessons about the way I cope with things. Anyhow, on return I was 10.1 lbs lighter (but was TOM and flight bloat) so today another 4.4 lbs gone for a total of 15.5lbs whilst in Florida !!!!!! I am so delighted I cannot tell you. Overcoming the American vacation and all the food delights available was a major conquest
But more than that I am now just 5.5 lbs away from the half way mark, or two pounds away from 50 lbs.
No-one apart from close family mentions my weight - it's like a state secret
But I relish going back to work in September when I should be another few pounds down, and seeing the reactions to the emerging slimmer me.
I feel very proud today and just wanted to share with you my positive feelings and my emotions about being close to half way. I have the greatest of admiration for each and every person who manages to lose weight, even just one pound, because it is not easy, and manages to consume your thinking
So keep at it chicklets, YOU ARE AWESOME !!
