  • Neurodoc, when you go to the edit signature page and you see the actual ticker- go down below it to the next box and you will see your 3 numbers xxx/xxx/xxx. This is where you change the number and save it. Then the ticker will automatically change. You don't really do anything to the actual ticker, just the numbers in the box below it.
  • Well i didn't really do as well in July as i wanted to!

    I think i will have gained a pound or two, not lost any. Chiefly due to an indulgent few days holiday. Not dared to get on the scales since....

    I did manage a 10km run which i'm happy about though. Origianlly i wanted to do a few runs of this distance in July, but in reality my broken foot is still complaining if i do too much so i'm happy with having achieved my target but still been sensible on that one.

    Wow. It's August.............
  • The moment of truth. July has ended.


    So my three goals for the challenge were:

    Quit smoking

    EPIC FAIL!

    Work towards Week 6 of C25k.

    Did C25K W6D3 yesterday! 2 1/4 mile run with no walking! Week 7, here I come.

    Lose 3-5 pounds.

    224.6 to 221.3 = 3.3 pounds lost!

    ~~ I said 175-177, I made it to 178 and got stuck for the last week
    ~~ I didn't get to the jogging part but can easily walk 3 to 3.5 miles and have even gone 4 a couple of times

    Love2B: you might not have hit your goals, but you HAVE lost weight and are getting fitter. good job!
    Ange: the damage may not be as bad as you think. sorry to here the foot's still giving you issues. And running 10k even one time? You're my hero!

    According to the gym tally I got in 21 workouts, not including the extra walks and swimming I did on my days off. The scale went down then back up again. Just doing my yo-yo thing until the next whoosh. Hard to believe it's August already! One more month or maybe 6 weeks until the heat starts breaking, I hope!

    # 1 - Lose 7 pounds (184)

    # 2 - Quit smoking this month. I keep procrastinating. Ugh!

    # 1 - not so much, failed miserably, I think I lost 1 lb.for the whole month.

    # 2 - going fine.

    Not too disappointed but would have liked to lose a little more.

  • My goals were:
    1. to get "solidly" into the 130s (my weight bounces a lot from day to day, so it's hard to trust a particular number).
    GOAL MET. I haven't seen 140 on the scale in over 2 weeks. I am averaging 137.
    2. To do a single unassisted pull-up/chin-up.
    GOAL NOT MET. I still can't, although I'm a bit closer (can get about halfway-two thirds to the bar before I fall back).

    New goals set for August.
