Default NSV - I broke the 2 mile mark!

Hello again! I sure do feel like I post a lot of random silliness over here... But I guess that's a good thing for me, at least!

I've been doing C25K, and today I ran W4D1 - Which I was a little nervous about, since it involves 5 minute runs and less walking than was involved in the past three weeks. I was surprised to find that the longer intervals really weren't that bad, and the biggest issue for me was heat... Go figure!

But what really got me excited was that thanks to the longer runs, I managed to get farther than usual today(I've been running the same route the entire program, and it pretty much works out the same every time). So when I got home I hopped onto mapmyrun.com to see how far I got... And I finally managed to break the 2 mile mark!!! Up until now my runs have only gotten to 1.82 miles or so, give or take depending on my speed and whatever... Today was 2.15!!!

I got SO excited, even though it's not even really *that* much farther, I'm still very proud that I got that far today! So I figured I'd share, because I like doing little victory dances with you guys!

That's awesome! The fun part about just starting to run is keeping track of and celebrating all those first times that start piling up. Your first two miles is definitely worth celebrating!
