Talking TODAY I Am A FREE MAN!
Today I am a free man

at least until summer is over

Angie is done teaching those pesky middle schoolers for the year today...

which means I am a free man!

Since we both work we have always shared the cooking, inside chores and outside yard work. Of course when the kids were here they helped out with the chores...if we could catch them.

I enjoy cooking but I have to plan my meals....

Sometimes I start "planning" my meals for the next week on date night dinner...

I am not always sure where I will be working during the week...

Angie is always teaching some yoga class after school at the studio or church...

Angie doesn't always want what I want for dinner.....

What's wrong with chili 3 nights in a row?

We go out most Friday nights for date night

And Angie almost always cooks the week-end meals

And my wife has no problem cooking any night she doesn't teach yoga during the week....

Which means I took 2 days a week

But for the next couple of months I don't have to worry if dinner is too beefy or too porky or too cheesy or too much pizza....

For the next couple of months...dinner time will be HEAVEN!

Angie is singing...has fish on the bbq for fish tacos tonight...

school is out and she got the on-line classes for the summer she wanted...

life is gonna be so sweet for the next 2.5 months

Just waiting for those magic words...

Actually tonight I have to cook...what is up with that?...one day in and I am toast already

Tonight Angie teaches 2 classes of yoga at church....luckily for me I made 4 chicken breasts in Emeril's Chicken Cacciatore sauce the Tuesday night...leaving 2 for left-overs tonight

Throwing on a pot of rice and some frozen peas and carrots...way e-z for me tonight.

FYI ~ I just tried Emeril's sauce for the first time...not bad...easy meal...not near as good as Angie's chicken cacciatore but she didn't complain at all.
