Default Neris and India's Idiot Proof Diet

Absolutely on plan (phase 1) for 20 days.
Lost 9lbs in 13 days.
Lost 0lbs in 7 days.

Trying hard not to be too disappointed but, of course, I am.

I know about fat cells hanging onto water but still, I'm disappointed.

Meh. Meh. Meh. Meh. Meh.

I didn't say I was going to blow it, I'm just meh-ed.

For the week I've averaged:
1500 calories (didn't count exactly, just recorded them, this is what the total turned out to be)
118g fat
97g protein
Percentages: 5% carbs, 25% protein, 70% fat.
Comments welcome!

Patience. I know, I have been whining since NOVEMBER at my bounces while being totally on my plan. The thing is, that the whole journey is not going to be linear, always the same or even close to it. We are going to have stalls now and then and the body will finally catch up with our minds. lol. I know it's hard not to get upset about the times when we don;t lose weight or even gain when on plan, but they WILL happen and it's up to us to practice patience. Certainly not one of my virtues!

Well done on your loss so far! You've done amazingly well!!

I'm doing the idiot proof diet too and after good losses in the first 2 weeks, I stayed the same for the next 2! I was a bit disheartened at the time, but decided to stick with it, and since then I've lost most weeks.

I'm very surprised and proud of myself, as usually after a week of staying the same, I give up and go on a binge but something stopped me this time!

Hi Jacqu! Good to know someone else is following the same plan as me!

I'm still sticking with it, although my losses are still only 10lbs in 25 days. I know I shouldn't complain! but the 15lbs above the 200 that I'm working through is so recent, I gained it in such a short time, I was expecting it to go a lot sooner.

It is a satisfying diet, though, isn't it? I've only very occasionally felt hungry, I feel good in myself, and my somewhat dodgy digestion (fell foul of an el-al in flight meal 25 years ago, never been the same since!) is the best it's been for years.

I'm sticking with it, hope to emulate your success - you're doing really well!
