Default Losing weight but not as much inches?

Alright just curious if anyone else is losing weight but feels like their measurements don't reflect their new weight?

Tomorrow is my official weigh day but right now I am around mid 170s. I have clothes that I wore in the high 180s that don't fit me now... I don't get it. I know that the weight is going from somewhere (maybe thighs and breasts?? lol) but I don't feel like I look my weight... Anyone else??

Just to clarify, I *DO* see differences in my body and I don't expect to look the same as I did 5 years ago, I just wish I could fit into smaller pants, because it SUCKS having pants that fit in the waist but are sooo baggy in the legs and butt

Yes...me too. Glad you created this thread....I have the same problem except in reverse. At 250 @ 5'9-1/2, I just went into a size 18 pants & 16/18 top. My measurements are shrinking much quicker than the #'s on the scale...which has me feeling like I'm going to be 210'ish in a 14. I have 10" approx more off my hips until I'm in the 14 range. Prior to the gain a couple years ago, I was 150# in a size 10....the mathematics are just not adding up for me on my way down ....I am just as seriously perplexed as you are. =\

Im hoping its like a delayed reaction and my waist is all of a sudden going to be randomly smaller :P

I think that is very possible...I am learning that nearly anything is possible in this as Im constantly being shocked & amazed. When I hit the 16/18 on top...& was a 20 on the bottom...I was like...OH MAN..NO! I'm going to be lopsided!!!! The bottom caught up finally. It's just so weird how the body puts itself back together. I can't wrap my mind around how it's going...the weight VS size...because I worked out at 150...tried my damndest to fit in something less than a 10 & I just couldn't. So now..I have no idea since it looks like I may hit a 14 earlier than planned...if I might be able to go lower than a 10 by my 160 goal...or my final end goal of 150. I am all up in arms & have no idea what the heck my body is doing.

I've needed to get this off my chest since yesterday lol.....

Have you tried doing Jillian's 30 day shred? That just may help kickstart your waist to slimline it a bit? I just started it...kicks your butt.

having the opposite problem, i've lost a bunch of inches but not a lot of weight and seem to be mostly in the same size. wtf?

This is ME in a NUTSHELL! My waist and hips just stay the same, pound after pound, and I keep wondering where on earth the weight is coming from.

And I exercise a ton and do abs and everything. As far as I can tell, I'm losing from the outside in-- I'll lose inches from my FOREARM and CALF but my waist won't budge. How annoying!

I think i am going to incorporate 100 situps a day and see if it helps!
