Brave enough to make my ticker right
A few weeks ago, I re-started, listing 1lb off, 2lbs off - never got to 3: the bungee cord pulled me back to the trough again. Sigh.
At that point I was 208; didn't get round to changing my ticker.
A week past Monday ago, I tried again, this time using a low-carb diet (Neris and India's Idiot Proof Diet aka Pig2Twig). I was 215.
I've lost 9lbs, and am now on the cusp of making that 3lbs off mark.
So I've been brave enough to make my ticker right, and to put my head a little more over the parapet and say, here I am again, again, again, again.

Its hard to be honest even with that little ticker sometimes. But you can do it! Get that 3rd pound off and keep going! Woohoo!

It is a fresh start! You have done this before and you can do it again. Just start plodding again.

I like the bungee cord analogy. That sounds very like my pattern. Down three, up two.
Glad to hear you're back on track!

Woohoo! Congrats on being able to correct your ticker. I agree with another poster who said it's hard to be honest with your ticker sometimes. Especially when you have to move it back up. But in the end, you realize its for you; to keep you on track; to help you see YOUR progress. What everyone else sees is only temporary, cause you know it will go down soon enough. Take your time. You can do it.
Good luck!

Just keep on going I too had to adjust my ticker today. Back up to 218. I know it is only 1 pound. But I kept putting it off. So I finnally did it this morning. But perserverance and staying on plan, we will be able to change those tickers to lower numbers again

I'm with you on that. I've been bouncing around so much I didn't want to change it but now I'm within 1.8lbs of it again, I'll just leave it until I go under again. it's nice to see you here again, I'm more of a lurker right now trying to get back on plan.

congrats on getting back on track!!!
I hate when my ticker is too low, it feels like it's mocking me. Hopefully, this was a good way for you to clean house mentally, and make that fresh start. You've already made great progress from a week ago and now you can keep claiming new victories each time the scale goes down.
