Default Question about grits

I was on vacation in the Smokie Mountains last week and bought a package of Cheese Grits. It's just grits, onion powder and cheese powder. I'm on phase 1 now but will I ever be able to leagally eat these? Not even sure I would like them but would like to try. Any advice helpful.

Grits is/are corn which is limited even in Phase II. I guess it would be a once in a while "treat". I much prefer oatmeal but I'm definitely a Northerner!

By the way, and I love your cute nickname!

I'd save them till phase 3...more than the corn, I'd be worried about the cheese powder...processed stuff.

I LOVE grits and do have them occasionally, but try to avoid corn products as much as possible. Cheese grits with mozzarella is pretty good. Shrimp and grits and grillades and grits..yum.
