Default Brussel Sprouts

Are these okay on Phase 2? I love brussel sprouts and am hoping I can start adding them into my diet.

I have tried really hard to love the sprouts, but I just can't do it. Any suggestions on how to spice them up?

I've hated them for over 69 years! However, I did try them roasted this fall and loved them. Sorry but I forget who posted the recipe. Cottage?

I make sure to cut out all the hard bits and then I roast them. So, so good. Just a little bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper.

I cut mine in half and then I add a bit of garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil. I saute them for a a few minutes. Then add some water and put a lid on the pan. I then let them cook for a while. This makes them soft and yummy. Sauteing them first makes the flavor really sink in.

I roast them with EVOO and some balsamic vinegar, roast at about 425 until they are browning, slightly crispy on the outside and caramelized. yum

I usually buy frozen baby brussel sprouts. Normally just steam them and put a tiny dash of lemon pepper on them....mmmm but I LOVE veggies!

YOu may be a super taster.

They may just taste too bitter to you no matter how they are prepared.
