So years ago, before I became a vegetarian, who now is a fish eater, but no other meats, I successfully followed the South beach diet right down to my lowest weight ever. I remember it working fast and being relatively easy. Then I became a vegetarian for ethical reasons, and gained about 20 pounds in 6 months. I was NOT being a healthy vegetarian. I feel compelled to go all vege again, and I feel compelled to get back on the South Beach Diet. I know it can be vege friendly, but my copy of the original SBD doesn't have much in the way of information about doing so. I am not willing to start eating all sorts of meat again. I want to know if anyone has done SBD the vegetarian way, and would like advice on this. (Back when I did it I was 165 and lost down to 148 lbs! That was over 6 years ago, and now I weigh around 180
