I was reading from the green book this AM, and thought I'd share.
From the green book;
Weekend Response Card
Because I want to keep off excess weight, my weekend eating has to be the same as my weekday eating. My body doesn't know or care that it's the weekend, and if I eat too many calories, I'll gain weight. It's worth it to me to control my eating-even on weekends.
Also from the green book,
" There are about 104 weekend days a year, not to mention the numerous holidays, anniversaries, birthdays, showers, weddings, parties, restaurant meals, fairs, conferences, meetings, special occasions, and vacation days."
This put it into perspective for me. Having this knowledge is a good reason to continue to find ways to eat OP during these times. I suppose if all these days were tallied, they would approach something close to 1/2 a year.
I'm headed to our library book sale this AM. I'm hoping to find a pink Beck book and maybe some good nutrition books.
