Wink 124/67 Exercise blesses the heart!

Best NSV, really! Really, really.

My BP was routinely about 155/105 lately, which according to Dr. Oz is where he starts treating with meds. But in only two months of exercising, I have brought that number down to 124/67 WITHOUT meds!! I knew I could do it! I'm stubborn and knew I had to do something. I knew my high BP was entirely my fault. Now my husband has high BP and it is NOT his fault. (Hoping not to offend anyone here) But MY BP was entirely within my control.

Happy day, happy day!!

And my resting HR is a very low 60.

Sensational! Congratulations. What a way to show that exercise amounts to more than just losing weight.

Thumbs up, that is awesome. What a great benefit of eating healthy and exercising. (My BP has likewise gone from pre-hypertensive down to low-normal, which is pretty pleasing to me.)

Congratulations! What a great inspiration! Just goes to show that even if the scale isn't moving (which may not be your case of course), keep going because your eating and exercise habits affect more then just your weight!

Yep, precisely why I posted this. The scale stalls OFTEN! I need to keep focused on the real reason I'm doing this.

Ya know, my doctors have never more than raised an eyebrow at those hypertensive readings. Could have something to do with stubborn, embarrassed little me who always played innocent and said, "Oh, that is high. It's not usually so high." Totally my own fault, but it does seem as though they should have sent me home with a 24 hour monitor thing to test out the white coat theory. I do think I have a touch of white coat syndrome, but anyway. LOL!

I get my readings at Meijer. Not the most reliable method, but better than nothing.

That is a wonderful example of how it all works... I am glad your doctor was pleased and that you had this great accomplishment.
