My body is more regulated, periods are more normal, I never break out now and my bowels are like clockwork. These are all signs the body is creeping back into whats normal. My hair and skin is healthier than it's ever been. I can move, I can play on the floor without my weight feeling like its dislocating my hips.

How about my fabulous test results at my last health screening? I have been eating a diet based on whole foods for over 5 years now. From my cholesterol to my blood pressure to my triglycerides - every number was in the "optimal" range.

Default you ladies are so right

I just dont understand why I was addicted to junk food, when healthy food not only makes me feel great but also will have me on the right path of looking good, and having energy, junk food only kept me hiding in my sweat pants and know I cant wait to reach my goal and buy some real jeans

Latinhips, go ahead and buy real jeans now, even if you have to go to Goodwill or a consignment store. It feel really good to wear something other than sweatpants!!

I had my doctor tell me he had never seen someone with such good cholesterol results.

I feel good when I eat well and exercise.

for me it's a simple equation really

mcdonalds + dairy queen + no exercise = dying early

the dying early is bad enough, but the idea of the last 10 or 15 years of that life being crappy, being immobile, etc., is not for me!

I like life way too much i'm not leaving early!!!

Fueling myself to really enjoy the outdoors.

Because crap food means that I don't have the energy for an all day hike, spending the day out on the water wake-boarding, or going cross-country skiing.

I live in two completely different, gorgeous areas with ample opportunities to enjoy the outside. If I'm eating burgers and fries and candy bars, I can't enjoy it like I should.

I no longer have daily IBS symptoms. On my high grease, high fat diet, I would often have cramps and diarrhea all night. That was totally normal for me.

In the last 3 months, I have only had this twice. Honestly, one was after a mini homemade pizza and the other after a day of going over my calories a bit... So in a more mild way, they were both set off by the same old thing. When I eat fresh, low calorie foods and keep up on my fiber, I feel really good!!

I feel really good emotionally when I eat healthy because I know I am putting vital nutrients into my body.

When I first began to lose weight, it was mostly because I didn't want to be fat. Everything I did was in aim of being thin. These days, it's become more about being healthy. That's my motivation. My health is important to me, I want to remain healthy and eating healthy food is a natural part of that.
