I LOVE Crack Slaw
Crack slaw, where have you been all my life??? I made it for the first time ever tonight and it was delicious! I used ground chicken, added pea pods, some mushrooms and shredded carrots, and low sodium soy. DH and I both loved it!

I can't believe I haven't tried it yet! I have my menus planned out for the week, but I'll definitely put it on the list for next week.

I was so uninspired this week I thought I'd give it a chance. I'm so happy I did and it was super fast and easy to make.

It's on my menu frequently now. My husband loves it too! I haven't tried adding meat to it yet. Must do that this week.

It's my new favorite!!! And what a great way to get lots of veggie in! We eat it with chopsticks and it seems quite Asian...

We love it too.
I don't care for ground beef so I use chopped chicken breast and add frozen stir fry veggies. I've been passing the recipe around at school, too.. people see me eating it at lunch and it looks so good that they ask about it. lol

I have made it with ground chicken and ground turkey. Soy is a must! I picked up two bags of slaw on sale today

OK, I just looked up Crack Slaw, and it says to use Dole Coleslaw mix, which I can't get here. Can anyone tell me what is in it? Is it just the standard shredded cabbage and carrots, or other things too?

The kind I bought was just a bag of shredded cabbage from the produce section at the store. Next time I'd get the one with the carrots in it because shredding carrots by hand is a big old pain.

Just use shredded cabbage and some shredded carrots if you are on Phase II. I never buy the pre-shredded stuff but I'm old-fashioned. I also don't have a family and a job like most of you do!

Great, thanks! Yes, I will do the shredding by hand too. I don't mind it, I turn on some music and tune out.
