Default Outta the 230's!!!

In the fall I had lost 55lbs and was down to 223lbs. But then I took a "break" and by Christmas had gone back up to 239lbs. In January I crawled back here, worked out a bit and got back to about 234lbs. My eating was terrible though. I stayed there untill this week. Yesterday was my 7th full day on plan working out hard and eating clean. NO JUNK. And I am FINNALY back out of the 230's.

I don't think I have gone 1 full week without junk food in my entire life. Even when I lost weight before I have a little smidge of ice cream here, a handfull of chips there. I even had McDonalds occasionaly. And though I made progress I made it slower than I would have liked.

I have recognised my addiction to high fat high calorie foods and since avoiding them I find it sooooooo much easier to stay on plan. Even my emotions that triger my eating habits don't triger it anymore. At least not enough to make me slip.

I know this 230 mark is a small stepping stone on my way to healthy but It feels so good. I feel proud of myselfe today. And I like that.

Hi Tracy. I just had to reply. You are not going to believe this but I am waiting to break out of the 230s too. My last weigh in I was 231.6 lbs. I am hoping this week I will be out of the 30s. I usually take it 10 lbs at a time. My highest was 310 lbs.

I am also from Nova Scotia. (Cape Breton). As far as saying it is a small stepping stone, taking it in small steps I think is the best way to do it.

Hope you continue to do well. Its not easy but we just have to keep our eye on the prize. In the end all this hard work will be worth it.

Congrats again on breaking the 30s mark and I wish you call the best on your weight loss.

I will post again tommorow night and let you know if I got below 230. Wish me luch. lol

Have a great day;

I'm still working on it. Yesterday was 230, this morning it spiked to 233.5! Ahhh. I'm sure it is water or TOM that's responsible.
So here's to the 220's!!

Congrats!!

And as an FYI for anyone reading there are challenge/support threads for both the 230s and 220s. Hopefully we'll need one for the 2-teens soon, too!

Bravo for you! I just hit the 230 on friday. Perhaps if I double up on the cardio a few times this week I can just shoot right thru them! (ok a little wishful thinking BUT HEY?) <<<raising a glass (of water) to the 220s!>>>

Hi everyone.

We are getting closer. lol

I had my weigh in and I am now down another 2.4 but still in the 30s. I am now 223.8... so close yet so far away. lol Can't wait to get out of the 30s and get closer to the 199.

Hope you are all well.

Take care and thanks for the warm welcome.
