Smile Is this kind of like zig zaging calories..

If you know you are going to have a high calorie day (like going out with friends for drinks, or going out to dinner), do you drop your calories low the day before, to 'make up' for the next day? Do our bodies even work that way?

Sort of. The concept of zig zagging is keeping your weekly totals the same but varying them daily. It's a little more complicated in the sense that the therory goes that your metabolism slows after 3 days of low cals so your high cal days should occur every three days or so to keep your metablism guessing and avoid plateaus. But as longs as your weekly total is the same then having a high cal day should be ok. Make sense?

yep freedieting for sure. Their cals seem high, but I promise you they work as long as you are honest about your exercise! That site has brought me to some great realizations about calories levels and our metabolism! I highly recommend it to everyone.

I've heard of 'zig zagging' and wanted to give it a try, so I was happy to find the calculator that makes it easy for me.

thanks for posting.
