Default Funny laundry story

I was just doing the laundry and I came across a pair of jeans that were too big for both my boys but were too small for my husband or for me. Whose jeans were those?

Oh yes! They're mine!! Seriously, I had to do a double take.

That is funny! I am finding that I've kind of lost the knack for looking at a pair of pants on the rack at the store and being able to guess whether or not they will fit. I'm constantly picking up the 12's and thinking they're too small, when in reality that's what size jean I am wearing right now. So then I try to pick up slacks in that size and they are skin tight; you'd think I'd be able to tell by looking but I can't.

My eyes are very weird. I can't figure it out. I've grown accustomed to eye balling shirts, but obviously not pants. My husband and I share most t-shirts. I like to wear them to bed. I used to know exactly which shirts were too small by holding them up. Now I hold up the "too-small" ones and realize how huge they are. But only a few months ago my eyes told me those shirts were small??? I'm surprised at how quickly my eyes have adjusted to shirts, but not pants.

Ha! I'm having the same experience with shirts. They just don't look like they'd be big enough.

When I got down to 230 last time, I had not bought clothes in almost a year, when I was my size now. My friend took me shopping for a new outfit, so I guessed I was in a 20 pants (always wore skirts) and an 18 shirt. Wrong! I had to try on pants three times to get it right (14) and STILL got the shirt wrong. I thought I should go by the pants, so I got a XL , but when I got it home it was too big. That was awesome, and I can't wait to have the same experience in a year or so.

Eliana- your weight loss is going awesome now! That is so great you're in the 100's. I know that has to feel AMAZING! It's denitely nice seeing pants that look small, and you think to yourself there is no way you could possibly fit in them, but you do! I love fitting into new clothes!

That's great Eliana! Just be glad you didn't accuse your hubby of having an affair...LOL (Just kidding). That happened to me once when I was folding jeans. I first thought maybe my teenage niece had left them here when they had visited...then I kindof/sort of thought in my mind that maybe my hubby had a mistress...then it dawned on me that they were mine. Too FUNNY!
