Default Should I just call it GOAL?!?!

Haven't posted in a while since I'm on a "diet" break, just means I'm not counting calories or food journaling, but I am watching my portions, and still eating healthy. I'm a little burned out but happy to report that I've been maintaining in the low 150's high 140's for the past 2 months. I still want to lose that "magic" 100 lbs, that will come sometime this year!

I'm attending my first NPC Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure Competition in March, I'm super excited to see a show in person. The plan is to see what the competition is all about and decide if it's really what I want to do. If so I'll hop back on the diet, calorie counting, food journaling train.

In the meantime I wanted to share some progress pics. I really should just post this in the Goal Photo Album because I'm pretty much there but I don't feel like I can until I hit my 100 lbs lost goal. What do you think should I just post my story in the Goal Album? I kind of feel like I'm cheating but then again my ultimate goal isn't about the scale anymore. I know If I decide to do a figure comp I'll have to get down to the 130's but that will just be for competition. For now I'm pretty happy right where I'm at

Christmas 2007, 2008, & 2009 (240lbs, 200lbs, 145lbs)

Found these on my cell phone...Bahaha same stupid expression! Left: Dec 08 - 210 lbs Right: Dec 09 - 145 lbs

My inspiration for 2010

One more pic...

This is me with my 2 friends Marcie and Amy. You might recognize Amy from the Biggest Loser! The 3 of us used to work in the same office building before Amy got on TBL. We became friends during our smoke breaks outside (none of us smoke anymore). Amy inspired both Marcie and I to lose weight, Marcie is down 120lbs! I love these girls <3
Here is a before pic of Marcie and myself...

Hey girl! I say post your story! Maintenance is such a fluid state---you can always go back and edit your story when you hit that magical 100 lb mark!

You look terrific!

I attended an NPC show in November and 2 of my friends competed. It was a really interesting experience. Be ready for some serious dark spray on tans! Let me know how your experience goes! It took a lot of time a dedication for my friends. I'll be interested to hear what you think about seeing the competition and if you decide to go for it yourself.

Congrats on all you have achieved so far!

I am having the same dilemma. But, if I looked as good as you, girl, I would post and maintain so fast it would make someone's head spin! Btw, the pic of you in the Army shirt..... I have my son's shirt as an "I did it" kinda thing. When I started this WL journey, there was no way I could wear his clothing, much less his PT shirt..... but I am in it, it is too big on me now..... but I wear it to fitness bootcamp every Tuesday to give me that push I need to make it through step class!

You have done great! As well as your friends! Tell Amy, I think she is an inspiration b/c she never changed the person she was on the show!

I don't think there is anything magic about 100 lbs - it all depends on where you started. Maybe if you had started 5 lbs heavier, then you might be at a point where you'd still want to lose a little bit.

But it seems like you are at a place you are are very happy with how you feel and look and what your body can do. That sounds like goal to me!! Congrats!!!
