Default For the first time EVER....

I am no longer wearing a size 18 pant!!! As of this weekend I'm a size 16, and have reached my first mini goal! I've never (that I can remember) been smaller than an 18, but my mom made mention that I was a size 14 in 6th grade!! 6th GRADE OMFG are you kidding me!? So, I've literally been fat my whole life! This was a momentous occasion for me. Some of the jeans I tried on were a little too tight and gave me either a camel toe or a muffin top, but they still fit!! One mini goal down several more to go!!!

Congratulations!

I can't wait til I can wear a 16. I wear 18 now but that is sure better than the 24's that were getting too tight.

Awesome! I know how great it feels to be 16, and how much better it will get at 14 and lower!

Think of being able to go to the mall and just buy a pair of jeans right off the shelf, that's my fantasy! lol.

I'm with you there! There are so many stores I want to buy clothes from but they don't carry Plus sizes! I'll also be excited not to HAVE to shop at Torrid and Lane Bryant!

That is great! I am right where you are. But some brands are still 18, but most are 16. My NYDJ;s are getting a little big for me, but not going to buy another pair of $100.00 jeans till I lose all the weight.

Janis, that's exactly where my mind is. I'm going to overcome my Thrift Store fear to buy cheap clothes for that size! It's exciting though!!

Torrid has some gorgeous clothes, but having the option of NOT going there = freedom, imho. Besides, I always thought Lane Bryant had old lady looking clothes.
