Default NSV and the best exercise ever!

I just got back from roller skating with the kids! Wow! I would not have done that 30 lbs ago. Did you see the one skating around and around with the biggest, cheesiest grin on her face? Oh yeah! That was me! I had so much fun. And what a workout. I used muscles I haven't used in a long, long time. I went non-stop for an hour and half.

I'm so glad I gave it a try. I used to LOVE roller skating! I may invest in some inline skates for the local bike path.

That's awesome. I haven't been skating in forever. Maybe I should try and drag my friends out soon!

That's awesome! I haven't gone rollerblading in years. The last time I went it totally killed the arches in my feet and I couldn't do it. Maybe I'll give it another go this summer when I am down some more weight. It does sound fun!

That's awesome. I love to skate but haven't been in years. Maybe I will have to take my daughter and teach her soon.

What a fun way to get your exercise in! I haven't roller skated for a long time but I used to be pretty good. I was a teenager in the 70's - 80's so that was a regular Saturday night activity for us - disco ball and all!

I wasn't a teenager, more like 10-12. But wasn't it the thing to do? I was pretty good too, good enough to be on a speed skating team, but wasn't. LOL! Now I can't remember how to properly go around the bend. But mostly it all comes right back. It was rough going though because the place was packed. It's different as an adult when you take it on as your mission to make sure all the children in the entire place are ok. I had much less to worry about as a kid. I could dart and dodge with the best of them. Now I'm very worried about plowing into the little ones.

Im so jealous, I plan on buying out of line skates when we move to colorado they are the skates that the dog whiperer wears. I can't wait to get back into skating but right now all I can do is use the gym and DDR (dance dance revolution) as exercise.

I've never heard of 'Out of Line' skates before... I'm gonna check them out. Thanks for the tip!

Sounds like a lot of fun! I always was on skates when I was younger! Been a while though - the last time I tried inlines though I thought my ankles would break!
