Talking I'm so proud of myself!

I'm so proud of myself because I fought past that negative voice in my head telling me that I didn't want to go for a walk, that it was no big deal if I missed a day.
I dragged myself out of bed and went to a nearby park and walked for 20 min!!!

That's the most I've moved in years!!

I know it's only 20 minutes but I am just so happy that I didn't give in like I usually do and that I actually did it.

This is my third day since I "officially" decided to do what I needed to do to make these changes in my life and I know it's not much but I need to start somewhere!

Congrats! It definitely feels nice to get over laziness and reservations and JUST DO IT! Especially when it turns out to be a great experience.

We all started somewhere. You'd be surprised how many cals you probably burned during your walk and what a boost it gave you.

20mins is the minimum required to kickstart weight loss regimen, so it is something! Go girl, never minimize even giving the least bit of effort!

20 minutes IS a big deal, not only because of the actual exercise but because of the mental victory. Each time you score a mental victory like that, your resolve will get stronger and stronger. And the bonus, at least for me, is that once I get out and start walking, I really do enjoy it.

Congrats! You are on your way!

Overcoming the negative voice that says things like "stay in bad" is a very big deal and you have every reason to be proud of yourself!!

Congrats on deciding to make a change in your life. What the others said about minimizing your walk is right. It is a big deal because you decided to do it.

Well done!
