Default What's your motto for 2010?

My motto for 2010:

"So....things aren't the way I want them right now......I'll be happy anyway!"

For me this means that I will choose to be happy NOW, rather than wait until I lose weight to be happy!

So what's YOUR motto for the new year?

My motto in life has always been - "Kindness Matters" I think I should change it to "Kindness Matters - especially to myself".

"This is the year"

It totally has to be the year. I took my daughter ice skating for the first time and had to call it off after 3 laps because I'm too heavy to deal with that weight on ice skates. I graduate in May (11 years late), I'm going to be looking for a new job for while I'm in grad school, I want to be confident in everything about myself. So this is the year.

I'd say it's probably the quote in my sig. I'm trying to let go of the idea that things, including but not limited to my weight, have to be a certain way for me to feel ok and fulfilled.

Well i started last year with "Be the Change You Wish To See In the World", and for the first time in my life i kept a resolution. So i'm sticking with this motto. However i do like RomanceDiva's motto. It is very fitting (the relationship part) for me right now.

My motto this year? "Just kick it."

Kick it into high gear. Kick that last 63 pounds out of here. Kick my butt into challenging the lactation consultants exam. Just kick it.

Ooh I like the just kick it one.

I don't know if I have a motto per se', though maybe I should.

I do love and live by my signature though. Could/should that be my motto - maybe it already is .

RomanceDiva - I like that!

"The most exciting, and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself."

I definitely need to work on this next year!
