Default Woo Hoo! Made it to the 220's!

I'm in the 220's now! The 230's took exactly one month (11/11 to 12/11). This is the decade I've been looking forward to.

At 222.4 I'll tackle my 4th 10% goal out of 7 and at 220.8 I'll be officially OVERWEIGHT! 9 more pounds... To not be obese anymore will be so out of this world, I can hardly stand it!

P.S. - Did you know I RAN last night with my dogs? Granted it was only a block out of our walk, but it seemed like it would be FUN (who said that?) so we did! I'm thinking the C25K program on my treadmill needs some attention...

Oh CC, I just love hearing about how much you are loving this new lifestyle.

I've often said that this journey is thrilling and fun and people make it as if I'm crazy. I kinda think you don't feel that I am, now that you're experiencing all the "fun" first hand.

The sad thing is, most people won't get to the point that you're at. They won't even attempt to change, feeling that it's too difficult or impossible and if they do make an attempt, they don't stick with it long enough to work past those difficulties to make it to this wonderful stage.

But not you - you are on fire!!! And there's no stopping you!

Congratulations on leaving yet another decade behind in the dust....

You're right, Robin! The good/fun in this effort far outweighs any bad/hard feelings I imagined I would feel. I have my moments when I look longingly at a gooey cheeseburger ad on TV and think that I used to have those far too often, but they don't fit in my life anymore and that makes me a little sad. But honestly, figuring out new things to eat, liking what I'm eating, feeling good physically, changing by the day inwardly and outwardly, and being able to do things with ease that used to be a challenge are all pretty exciting things that seem to propel me along and make me happy to get up in the morning and start a new day. Life is good!

Thanks for the nice posts, everybody!

CLCSC... I am SO HAPPY for you! And guess what? I'm right there with you. I hit the 220s this morning!!!

It is just an indescribable feeling. I feel like I'm in my twenties again since that's the last time I weighed this much.

I am amazed and inspired by how you have come!!!

Next stop, ONEDERLAND!!!

Congrats on the 220s and on the running! I would have never thought that I would think anything considered exercise would be fun, but I like running (I'm still not good at it yet, but I am enjoying working on it) and I actually LOVE being on the elliptical. I used to think the people who said they liked these things or who claimed to prefer the taste of healthy food were lying and trying to make themselves feel better about how they were torturing themselves. Now I understand.

Robin - People think I'm crazy too. My hubby is one of them - he thinks it's a cute crazy, but still crazy.

Ubergirl - Congrats to you too.

It's just thrilling to hear of all of you (us) transforming your (our) lives. Thrilling.

Man, I'm corny. But I just can't help it. I feel very strong and emotional about it.
