Anyone heard of Tangerine? Supposedly it lets you create music mixes to a certain rhythm (for running mixes) -- since I tend to adjust my pace to my music, I'm intrigued by the idea that you can motivate yourself by mixing playlists with high BPM.

Anyway, if you girls are interested in downloading my playlist as a mix I'm happy to put it up on rapidshare or another file program. (Skirting the edges of legality here, but I think it's okay as long as it's a mix...)
  • Gracie789, I LOVE Seven Nation Army by White Stripes!

Here's my list (although I've also grown bored with it):

Der Kommissar by After the Fire
Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult
    Got Money by Lil Wayne
In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins
In the Ayer by Flo Rida
November Rain by Guns n Roses
    Sadness (Part 1) by Enigma
Shadow of the Day, Linkin Park
    Try Again, Aaliyah
    Twilight Zone, Golden Earring
    Umbrella, Rihanna
    Whatever You Like, TI
    Kashmir, Led Zeppelin
    Seven Nation Army, White Stripes
  • I listen to a mixture of old school R&B, vintage 80s & 90s music, and contemporary pop/dance. This stuff is essential to my daily battles with the elliptical or the stationary bike, which would otherwise be unbearably tedious.

Hazy Shade of Winter, The Bangles
    Candy, Cameo
    Mr. Jones, Counting Crows
    Lust for Life, Iggy Pop
    I Want Her, Keith Sweat
Jungle Boogie, Kool and the Gang
    My Old School, Steely Dan
Shut Up and Let Me Go, The Ting Tings
    Sharp Dressed Man, ZZ Top
I Gotta Feeling, Black-Eyed Peas (no, I'm not sick of hearing it yet)
I Can't Go For That (No Can Do), Hall & Oates
    Low, Flo Rida
Empire State of Mind, Jay Z, featuring Alicia Keys
Take Your Time (Do It Right), The S.O.S. Band
    Shock the Monkey, Peter Gabriel
    Sledgehammer, Peter Gabriel
    Can't Let Go, Lucinda Williams
    Back Stabbers, The O'Jays

Thank you so much for telling us about this!
I googled Tangerine assuming it wouldn't work in Mac OS, but surprise - it's a Mac program.
I downloaded the 15 day free trial and I've been playing with it for an hour or so. I 'perfected' 3 new playlists and I plan to fool around with it some more tomorrow. It's really easy to use. My son has been looking for Christmas gift ideas, so I'm going to tell him I'd like the full version as a gift this year.

The FAQ gave a link to beaTunes, a similar product for Windows users, if anyone is interested.

    Thanks again lackadaisy!
