Just a couple of pics, the first is of Beth and I yesterday on Mothers Day in the UK. Don't be fooled by the apron, I had a totally lazy day, the apron was just one of my gifts. I am actually still in my PJs in that pic!! The second photo is of mum, myself and Beth in 1997 when we were last in Australia together.
Just wanted to show my new hairdo. It is kinda similar to the last one, which had pretty much grown out, but the stylist said it is 'funkier'. I have a feeling that 'funkier' translates to 'messier', but it is different, which is fine by me. It seems that since I changed my body shape/size, I don't really know what 'style' I want the rest of me to be, so I'm still experimenting.
The first pic shows a good side shot and I think you get a good idea of the colour and shape. The cut is more layered, so it doesn't all sit nice and flat.
The second shot I wanted to put in because I just like the look on my face. Kinda 'dreamy'.
I took both shots myself, after taking LOTS, and I don't think they turned out too bad.
Yep another picture of me, funny how we go from hating to be photographed to actually enjoying it and enjoying seeing ourselves starting to look better
I don't have any progress pics yet, so I just thought I'd post a couple random photos, as I've enjoyed looking at everyone else's.
The first is of hubby and I, out geocaching; the second is of me clowning around (revealing my true personality?) in Salem, MA; the third is hubby and I posing in front of the Mayflower in Plymouth, MA; and the final is our kittycat, Mojo - I love this pic 'cause you can just barely see one of his copper eyes staring out at you.
A couple pictures from our hike this past weekend. The first is my niece and I, after having completed the longer hike - she's pretty pleased with herself as you can probably tell! (as am I)
The second is of hubby and I near the end of the shorter hike we did the next day. We'd just finished climbing down then back up the side of a steep hill, so as you can see from his expression, it wore us out. Lots of fun, though!
I wanted to post some pics from our day at the wildlife park the other day.
We went into a walk-in aviary and as soon as we entered this cute galah landed on hubby's shoulder and wouldn't get off. It was keen on biting his camera, but then just happily sat and nibbled on his collar when he was nudged away from the camera.
The first pic is my favourite, as hubby is smiling, but the second pic shows the looks that the galah got most of the time. It is funny, but we get these parrots all over the place and I often ignore them, but they are actually quite pretty birds.
Hi everyone -- I just wanted to say keep the pics coming!
