I'm going to try posting a picture to see if it works. This is one of my favorites of my grandson and me although I really don't like the way I look. This was at my heaviest, 318. The reason this is a favorite is because my grandson loved riding the escaltors and being a grandparent, I have the time and patience to indulge him. Who needs Six Flags?
I am posting for the first time in a very long while. I hope I remember how. Here is a pic with me and my husband, I weighed 369, ten pounds under my heaviest at that point. The one next to it is me last week at 318.
Got my hair coloured the other day. I didn't mean for it to be RED, just a little 'warmer', but I think I'm getting used to it. I think it is more red/pink where the blonde highlights were. I just had a straight colour this time (to save money) but will have foils when I get it done just before the holiday.
Attached are a couple of pix from Yosemite. The one of the mountain is Mt. Conness, the tallest mountain in the Sierras north of Tioga Road in Yosemite. It is at 12,500' and I took it from a vantage point around 10,200'. The second one is of the lake I camped at. It was taken just as the sun was rising and the lake was perfectly still. There are some really beautiful places that can only be seen by backpacking or horsepacking -- I feel so fortunate that I'm able to do what I'm doing!
This is me about half-way through the first day of my 4 day trip. I was so tired by the end of the day -- 9 hrs of hiking -- but proud that I stuck it out!
This is one of the prettiest places I've ever been -- Thousand Island Lakes in Ansel Adams Wilderness area just south of Yosemite. I stayed here 2 nights.
Here are some pictures from my time spent in beautiful Jamaica this year (2008). These are from around my highest weight, it's amazing what 30 or 40 lbs can do, I really notice my weight loss when I look at these pictures, especially in my face... I used to have a massive double chin! Yikes... I'm returning to Jamaica in December and hoping for better pictures! Enjoy.
