ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU - I've always been the 'fat' kid--in school, at home, at camp, everywhere. I learned to stay quiet but it was hard to stay out of the way of the bullies because I was also one of the tallest in my class all through school. A teacher actually brought me to the front of the class and measured me and the tallest boy in my class and I was an inch taller. I was humilated that day to say the least. Fortunately, that boy saw my problem that day and befriended me for the rest of our time at school together. He taught me that my size didn't make me who I am, it only taught me who other people are by how they react to me. I now want to lose weight not because I want to fit in with anyone. I want this to be so that I can be more healthy and live longer. At the rate I'm going now I'm shortening my life span signifigantly. I'm ready to lose the diabetes (losing signifigant weight can reverse Type II). I'm ready to work in my garden again without being worn out so fast. And I'm ready to live a healthier life.
