    Welcome to the May exercise thread! We're making exercise a habit, giving ourselves some accountability, and getting healthier in the process!

    In this thread, we track the number of MINUTES we exercise for the month -- whether it's walking or swimming or sweaty housework! Most of us set goals for ourselves. If you are a goal-setter, early in the month set your own goal! If you're just getting started, feel free to start with a smaller number of minutes, maybe just a few hundred. It seems easier for many of us to build on the habit rather than meet a very high goal right away. However, you can also just jump right in without a goal, and you can join us anytime in the month!

    In April we put in 1521 minutes...Let's double that for May...We can do it!!!

    To keep track, just add your minutes to the existing group’s minutes. If you’re new, look at what other people are doing – it’s pretty easy to figure out! To help everyone keep things straight, please note the OLD minutes and the number of NEW minutes you are adding, such as
    Group total ~ 500 + 50 = 550 minutes.

  • I just added my workout for this past thursday for april we ended with 1521 minutes
  • Ok everyone..we are looking to meet or beat 3042 minutes for May
    WE CAN DO THIS IF WE ALL WORK TOGETHER!!!! I KNOW WE CAN!!
  • I'll start us off

    30 minutes wfc upper + 20 min bedtime yoga= 50 MINUTES
  • 55 min Zumba yesterday

    50+55=105 MINUTES
  • 15 mins walk + 60 mins Painting = 180 Mins
  • Lunchtime workout:
    15 min treadmill and 15 min weights=30

    180+30=210 Minutes
  • May 1 - 35 minute walk.
    May 2 - 20 minutes on elliptical and 21 minute walk

    210 + 35 + 20 + 21 = 286 exercise minutes!
  • 286 + 30 min wfc core + 20 min bedtime yoga=
    336 minutes

    We are rocking this!!!
  • 50 min AquaFit (last night)

    336+50=386 minutes
  • May 3 - 20 minutes on the elliptical.

    386 + 20 = 406 minutes of exercise.
  • 406 + 25 minutes candlelight yoga + 30 min wfc lower=461 minutes
  • Lunchtime Workout:
    Weights and Treadmill 30 min

    461+30=491 Minutes
  • 491 minutes + 30 min wfc upper + 15 min yoga=536 minutes
  • May 4 - 19 minutes walking
    May 5 - 16 minutes elliptical
    May 5 - 25 more minutes walking

    536 + 60 = 596 minutes of exercise!
