Default Movin and Groovin in May Exercise Thread

In honor of what Heather started:

Welcome to the May exercise thread! We're making exercise a habit, giving ourselves some accountability, and getting healthier in the process!

In this thread, we track the number of MINUTES we exercise for the month -- whether it's walking or swimming or sweaty housework! Most of us set goals for ourselves. If you are a goal-setter, early in the month set your own goal! If you're just getting started, feel free to start with a smaller number of minutes, maybe just a few hundred. It seems easier for many of us to build on the habit rather than meet a very high goal right away. However, you can also just jump right in without a goal, and you can join us anytime in the month!

In April we put in 1521 minutes...Let's double that for May...We can do it!!!

We invite you to join us!

To keep track, just add your minutes to the existing groupís minutes. If youíre new, look at what other people are doing Ė itís pretty easy to figure out! To help everyone keep things straight, please note the OLD minutes and the number of NEW minutes you are adding, such as
Group total ~ 500 + 50 = 550 minutes.


We did great guys in April....let's make May AWESOME!!!

I just added my workout for this past thursday for april we ended with 1521 minutes

30 minutes wfc upper + 20 min bedtime yoga= 50 MINUTES

55 min Zumba yesterday

50+55=105 MINUTES

Second Big Goal is to be 248lbs by the time my best friend gets married in June 2017

Third Big Goal is to be 218lbs by the time my other best friend gets married in November 2017

Fourth Big Goal is to be in Onederland by my sisters wedding in Italy in April 2018

Lunchtime workout:
15 min treadmill and 15 min weights=30

180+30=210 Minutes

May 1 - 35 minute walk.
May 2 - 20 minutes on elliptical and 21 minute walk

210 + 35 + 20 + 21 = 286 exercise minutes!

May 5 - 25 more minutes walking

536 + 60 = 596 minutes of exercise!
