So this morning I weighed in 2.5lbs lighter than last week on the chart I am still .6 up from my Xmas eve weigh in, so I am determined to get that off before the weekend. I did my double workout on Monday, then again Today, with some foam rolling and stretching and walking yesterday to loosen off the legs.
I am 9lbs behind schedule, so It would be nice to catch up and get even 3 or 4lbs off before I go to London next Friday.
Its all about consistency right? So I just need to stick to plan and hope for the best.
Blicca That is a good gain save, could of been worse, well done for sticking on plan!
Ruby I can imagine you burned a lot at the water park without even realising it. The fast was actually pretty easy, With a big salad and then a stir fry, It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. But now I seem to be a bit better on track.

Ruby - I hope you can find a similar cider where you live. The one that I had is from a local brewery. I'm a big fan of ciders as well. There are bottles of lemon basil cider and caramel cinnamon in my fridge that I've been trying to stay out of.
Me - Did pretty well yesterday. Had some treats, but stayed under my calorie goal, and dropped down to 268.2. Struggled a bit when I stopped by the grocery store to pick up some apples. Before I even walked through the door, I could smell the fried chicken from the deli counter, and I really wanted some chicken strips. I managed to talk myself out of the chicken, but man, that was rough. Serves me right for going to the store hungry!
Breakfast - Toast with laughing cow cheese - 125
Snack - Half a spinach florentine bagel with salmon cream cheese - 320
Lunch - Taco salad - 226
Snack - Fiber One double chocolate cookie - 120
Dinner - Cheddar broccoli soup - 352
Total: 1,143

Blicca Going to the store hungry is just horrid I can hear the battle going on in my head all the time when Im there.
Me I am officially passed my xmas weight woohoo! My lowest before xmas was 279.9, then today I hit 279.5 just a tiny little bit, but its in the right direction. The gym seems to be working wonders, Im also not as sore today which is always a bonus. I go to London next Friday and I would love to be just a little bit lighter, maybe 276? I think people will ask how much I have lost, and it would be nice to say 47lbs or more .
So to try and achieve this, I will be going for my doggy walk on my off Gym days, which is today. Then I will be going to the gym tomorrow morning for my weight training, then again later on at night for some light cardio, hopefully burn about 1400 calories . I will also be staying at 1400-1500 calories to eat, PT said I needed to eat more, so this is my aim.
I am super excited about getting back into it

Scotsgal - Congrats on getting back under your pre-xmas weight! It's good to see that your commitment in the gym is paying off.
Phae - Best of luck staying on plan with your food goals today.
Me - Did a pretty good job of staying in control of my eating yesterday, and had a small drop down to 268.0 this morning. It helps that I didn't really do any snacking, that tends to be my downfall. Hoping to stay on track with my calorie goals today, but that may be difficult since we're going out for Thai food tonight.
Breakfast - Toast with laughing cow cheese and coffee - 141
Lunch - Salad with toasted edamame and avocado dressing - 223
Dinner - BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches with macaroni and cheese - 548
Total: 912

I ordered takeout last night, so the guilt drove me back to the gym today on my day off.
Weight was up this morning, which was 100% due to the take out, so today I have burned nearly 1000 calories and ate 1200. So fingers crossed I can get a hold of that before it goes anywhere.
I have only 5 days left of possible workout days before going down to London and see people for the first time in a year, so I need to stick on track for the next week and be very good. This will hopefully cover any slip ups while in London through alcohol calories

Not so bad calories yesterday, going to soldier on for today. Was at the gym and I'm struggling with my bar bell squats, really sore on the shoulders. After having takeout on Friday I am still .1 above my lowest weight which is annoying to sabotage my own efforts. I am still hoping to see a 2lbs loss by Friday morning before travelling down on the train to London for the weekend.
Weigh in is on Wednesday

Another big week for me, but I am not complaining. 280.6 today. I wouldn't believe it but the gym across the street's scale is exact with mine at home. Maybe there is something to this low carb business. Never had any beginning losses like this. It is motivating, but I need to remember that it wont last.
Had a party at work last week and it all there was was soup and sandwiches, I just ate the roast beef out of my sandwich! I wasn't the only one who tossed their bread at my table either, it was actually pretty funny. I just got a diet coke with my drink ticket (don't like alcohol anyway).

Checking in for today, 1400 calories which is usually higher than my daily, but I have burned 900 odd calories in the gym. I am having a strange gym week this week. Strength on Monday, cardio on Tuesday, strength on Wednesday and cardio on Thursday. No days off, just working it differently this week.
So far I have 2.7lbs since this time last week which is great! fingers crossed it grows

I had a cheat day yesterday. Not on purpose but it was my work holiday party and I went a bit over board. Not going to worry to much about it though because I was really active. I did a couple of games of bowling, laser tag, and I took my daughter to the water park that morning. Hopefully it doesn't effect my weigh in too much tomorrow.

Checking in for the first time in a while. I had my gall bladder surgery on Monday and have been home recovering. Weighed in at 266.0 before I went in for surgery, and now I'm up to 275 with the swelling and less-than-stellar eating I've been doing while I recover. I'm finally feeling like I'm on the mend, though.
