Default 10 Days In The Life Boat #186

Welcome to the latest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.

This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Grab an oar and join us doing our best to not fall out of the boat and get wet. We need to meet our goals to stay dry.

My goals for this leg are:
1. no Fast Food period. It's my down fall
2. sticking to WW eating. like I did when I lost 75 lbs several years ago.

Right these next 10 days are crucial to me just now.

I WILL NOT GO OVER 1300 CALORIES PER DAY!!

I WILL ALSO REDUCE MY CARBS AND HIGHER MY PROTEIN

Surely if I make it big enough, I'll stick to it?

My boat is going silent..... Internet troubles coming my way.

I will be back on in a week with a different provider, so I will turn the radar on when I return and let you know how I got on!

Scotsgal, We'll miss you. Hurry back.

Karen: So PROUD of you, and for you. Hope you reach that goal really soon!

I'm on program but feel like crap. Early bed time for me tonight.

Even with a stuffed head and wheezing I met my goals yesterday. Hoping today will be successful as well. Sniffle, sniffle, sniffle.

just looked back - less coffees - I picked up oars and threw them like javelins into the ocean now hand paddling to try follow the other goals..
remember water... yes do that 2 days forget for 3....
stick to points - just to major events have left me short of spare points. still have four weeklies remaining J-ann you will know what I mean there
all in all need to make it a good next 3 days until weigh in! might even have to try find those oars....

I understand fully, Karen.

I'm pissed because I couldn't get to WW this morning and weigh in. I didn't want to go in and spread my germs to everyone. I'm sure I'm contagious. Damn, I'm sure I had a great loss.
Rowing when I'm not coughing or napping.

Still not feeling great but still meeting my goals. Rowing slowly.
I'm going to try to get to a WW meeting early tomorrow evening. My usual meeting is early Thurs. morning and the forecast is for temps in the low teens F. at that time. I don't know if I'm ready to deal with that kind of temp. yet.

Scotsgal, Get those arms moving and your head out of the water! The's a life ring off to your left. Grab it and we'll pull you in.

I have good news. I've stuck to my goals and my ww points for 12 straight days. I weighed in today at a different meeting, same leader though.
I lost 11 lbs in 12 days. Sure, some was water, but some wasn't. I feel recharged after the disaster at weigh in 2.5 weeks ago.

must be this time of the year....
I'm also not rowing the best anyway -- only a teeny 100 gram loss ... that's like 0.2 of a pound this week

scotsgal come on chick you can do it! using the oars again to send you the life ring...
oh dear dropped one

right new day and new week starts Monday here ... picked up oars and rowing with much splashing ... managing to stick to target zone right now
planning to go to Christmas lights display up in Auckland next Thursday or Friday and picking up my bestie to go with my girls and I
as its a fav thing to do at this time of the year

working on a choreography to Santana smooth .. hmm half done... need to pull finger hitch pants and finish it!! before tomorrow - yeah right - get someone to video it then put on paper maybe that will work.. (nope it doesn't ..tried and failed at the translation part in the past)

have ideas just needs tweaking....

girls have swimming then we have end of year dance dinner tomorrow night...
Kebabs so can work that into my points! and if I work it right will even fit in dessert... and a good old fashioned boogie with it

I'm very happy! Still meeting my goals!

We're heading into the marina tomorrow. Even though we are supposed to row for ten days and the thread title will still read "10 Days...." we will be rowing for 11 days on the next leg. I'm not going to start a new thread on what will still be the 25th in a part of the world.
