So, I was craving a treat from Starbucks, the lemon iced cake. It's so good. And I've been fighting the craving all day, but I couldn't fight it anymore, so I caved and went down to Starbucks to get it. And wouldn't you know it, they ran our of lemon iced cake today. I was both sad and relieved. Sad because, heck, I did want it. Relieved because I knew the universe had just helped me out by making the thing I craved unavailable. So, instead of eating lemon iced cake, I had a protein bar. Much healthier choice and much needed lesson.

Hmm I have never tried this lemon iced cake. My struggle is Frap's. I love fraps in summer. I have to just say no! YAY for the universe saving you some calories. Have you tried making a WW lemon cake at home? Or buying Lemon protein bars or something like that? Oh, I also think Halo makes a lemon cake flavor. Just something to help you stay on track but still get the lemon flavor? Now, I'm craving some lemon cake.

I stay away from Starbuck's because, like WHAL, I have a thing for their fraps....and about anything else they serve.

What I don't avoid when I need a caffeine fix is McDonald's. Iced coffee, no liquid sugar. A large has 80 calories, and it's ice cold.

I used to love their stem ginger biscuits Fraps are also a big weakness as the weather gets warmer. They now do a mini size cup in the UK, maybe I can threat myself after a lose a bit more

What I wouldn't do for a frap...or an shake. I haven't had one in a few years. Once in a while DD will get one and I will have a sip off of hers. I have diabetes and they send my sugars through the roof. I'm trying to remember which Lemon protein bar it is I eat once in a while...it is awesome. I am going to have to look up the WW Lemon cake mentioned and see if I can make it diabetic friendly. I love Lemon anything.
