Default 10 Days In The Life Boat #160

Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.
This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Grab an oar and join us doing our best to not fall out of the boat and and get wet. We need to meet our goals to stay dry.

ARRGH The last leg was not easy for me.

My goals are staying dry by
1. Sticking to my WW goals
2. Asking my self my key questions:
a. Are You REALLY hungry?
b. When did you last eat?
c. Is what you are considering eating healthy?

I have been staying pretty dry but VERY busy, so its been easy to do. I find I eat more when I am bored.

Goals for this leg:
1. Drink 90 oz. a day.
2. Train for 5K-Walk at least 10 miles in the next ten days.
3. Quit focusing on the scale and focus on healthy habits

Fell in yesterday. This morning I dragged myself over the stern and planned every meal and snack. Got it all in my tracker already. I'm going to row hard, review my goals (again!!!) and stick to them.

Stuck to my Weight watchers program - go the other oar today too
did not go over the points in the program

going to add in need to walk more - and add in some resistance training - have a set of resistance bands am going to use them - at least 3 times this week

j-ann keep that focus up and you will be rowing your boat into shore by the end of the 10 days ! we can stay dry this time if we stay focused

Fell overboard this weekend. Pulling myself back into the boat & gearing up for a great, successful week. Meals are planned...it's just up to me to follow through. Strapping myself in.

Have walked 3 of my 10 miles for this stretch....so I see a walk in my future this afternoon.

Hi everyone, up until today I've been miserably binging, but today was good.
My goals:
No binging
Reach out to OA at least 1 more time before this session is over for much needed support.
Be kind to myself, put my health over my taste buds.

I'm actually in my seat and rowing away. I'm dry!

There are warm, fluffy towels if you need them and the life rings are on top of neatly coiled lines waiting to be tossed if needed.

WTG J-Ann! I'm doing good, I did have some unexpected dessert, but I am still staying on plan. My goal is to consistently stay under 1,950 calories per day from here to the 30th of this month. I wanted to weigh in today, but I stopped myself because I want the surprise of seeing my weight in 3 weeks. *crossing fingers* I'm praying it will be good.

New here:
My Goals :
Eat 1250 -1600 calories daily
Less obviously on days I don't exercise and higher on the days I do exercise
Drink my daily water amount 60oz
Exercise 3-4 days a week.
No binge or emotional eating
When I feel hungry: ask myself when is the last time
I ate, am I hungry or bored? Do I really need this

From April 1st thru today.. I haven't really met many of my goals
due to not feeling well since my allergies have been keeping me down.

No exercise this week, ate under 1250 each day due to not being hungry.
Drank my daily water amount, no binge eating since not hungry.
So guess I'm still in my boat with out the energy to row.

Seems I found this life boat thread right at the end of its 10-day life? I've never popped into one of these threads but I used to be quite active on the 300+ club. I haven't done too badly these last years (haven't gone near my high weight of 340) but I also haven't done as well as I could. I get scared when I see change and then I sabotage myself, or I get busy and make myself the victim of my bad choices. I'm almost 30 and it's time to get my **** together. Hope to row along with you all soon!

Yesterday was not perfect but it could have been much worse. I'll consider myself splashed.

Welcome Chrislynn and Neonwildflower!

I get scared when I'm doing really well too, Neon. I'd lost 75 lbs really easily and when I realized I was getting close to another intermediate goal I lost it mentally. 60 lbs and a couple years later I'm trying to get the "good feelings" back and am prepare, I hope, to deal with success a bit better.

I'm Dry - splashing a bit but have not fallen in yet !

Sticking to my weight watchers plan !!! Yay me - got in all my steps last week - didn't go over my full points allowance / weekly extras included ... not just dailies -the daily allowance was just a bit splashy and rocky on the boat

pulled out my old ps2 game - kinetic combat - its a camera based kung fu training program with shadow boxing - cant do some of the exercises yet am planning on one day getting there

drank water - drank enough to make me move a lot more just flushing the system !!!

had a 2.1 kg loss or a 4.6 pound loss down to 137.3 kg or 302.6 pounds !!!! almost headed under 300 !!! woo hoo! haven't been this close since 2008!

have tracker rounded up as it doesn't show points .... so 303 - 3 pounds to under 300 - didn't think I would get there
