Hi everyone.

Today was a mini milestone day. I broke 450 today and am down nearly 50 pounds. I don't feel like the same person I used to be and it's a wonderful feeling, really.

Tomorrow and Monday I am off, so it will also be a very nice long weekend for me. Looking forward to getting some stuff done around the house.

Hope everyone is having a good week thus far.

Congrats Larry on another loss!

Hi everyone.

EmilyFIT, welcome and congratulations on your weight loss.

Terra, according to your tracker you are losing weight again. Congratulations.

Ubee, I believe in you. You can do this.

Larry, your weight loss is amazing.

I need to check in more often. I'm doing fine but weekends seem to present a problem for me. I went grocery shopping this morning and to the farmstand and ran a couple other errands as well, so I have no excuse not to eat well. There is plenty of healthy food to eat, and DH's small stash of snacks that are not kept in the kitchen should not pose a problem, but occasionally they do. DH has a hard time saying no to me but I have asked him to try.

I hope you're all doing well. I will try to check in over the weekend.

So we had a brief thunderstorm with lightning today. The lightning caused the power to go out over most of my city for a couple of hours. The rain didn't last very long and the sun was out so I figured it was as good of time as any to get some more walking in.

With all the walking I did between my regular workout, stuff around the house, and then the additional walking due to the power outage, I ended up earning the "Urban Boot" badge from Fitbit for walking 15,000 steps.

I'm still a bit in awe. A couple of months ago any walking for more than 30 seconds felt like I was literally going to die.
