Good morning.
Welcome to the newbies and Hello to my old friends.
I must post on here daily or I start going down that slippery slope.
Today is Saturday and I know the weekends can be difficult for some of us.
Let's stay strong and drop some weight.
Have a peaceful day.

Hi everyone! I don't think I've ever posted in here, but I need to start posting more, so I figured why not.

Question: Has anyone done the low carb/high fat diet, or is anyone currently doing it? That's what my doctor put me on. I lost about 60 pounds without going on any diet and have lost 15 pounds since going low carb. I just found out I'm insulin resistant, so I have been advised to restrict my carb intake. It's so hard though, considering carbs are in just about everything!

I am doing High fat, moderate protein and low carb since April 19th and lost 52 pounds. My goal is 65% fat 30% protein and 5% carbs although I have never reached 5% carbs. Feeling great and am never hungry like I used to be. Fat and protein stick with you and keep you from getting hungry

Good morning.
Terra thanks for the welcome back. It was only 11 days were I was lurking but not posting. While that may work for others I still have too many issues and need daily support and accountability.
Welcome lemc87! I agree with Larry it is a great way to lose weight. A very satisfying way of eating. The downfall for me is that I am a very emotional eater and I also have a sugar addiction.
Larry are you back in Florida now?
Hoping to get my mind back on track today.
Have a peaceful day.

Good Morning Guys and Gals,

I have an appt. this morning and then I'm gonna come home and clean the whole inside of the house. Even though I'm gonna clean the inside of the house I'm still gonna work out for an hour tonight. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Hi All,

Sorry I didn't post much after I got home from Granny's funeral. I decided I needed to take some time off for me. That means I didn't get online at all and stayed away from my phone as much as possible these last few days. I enjoyed just relaxing and doing anything I wanted. I didn't exercise and I was ok about it. I didn't eat 100% on plan and I was ok with that too. I just needed to decompress a little and that meant for me just not thinking about anything or worrying about anything. Not eating 100% on plan may not have been the best decision but it was one I made and don't feel bad about. Luckily, it's Monday and I'm back on track 100% with eating and exercise. I bounced back pretty quickly and am proud of that.

I'm not going anywhere. I'm still here and will still post daily because it does help keep me accountable. I just finished my HIIT session and now am in desperate need of a shower.

Hope everyone else is doing well! There's a lot of new people here since I last posted...That makes me happy! Welcome everyone! You have found the best thread on 3FC!!!

Night everyone!

Wow, that's an awesome loss! Congrats.

I have noticed that I feel fuller on this diet as well; that I'm not very hungry and that often means that I don't eat enough. I need to start forcing myself to eat more, I think. I'm pretty sure not eating enough can be just as detrimental as eating too much.

Lemc: thanks hun much appreciated :$

Hi guys quick check in. Had a really long day today. I had to wait for a client to show up and hour and a half after we close. I ended up not making it home until almost 7 after leaving work and stopping by the store for milk. I'm just too tired to exercise today so I'll work out tomorrow instead of taking my usual rest day.

Hope everyone else is well!! I'm about ready for bed. Night all!

Hi everyone.

Just checking in quickly to say hello and all is well. Had an off track weekend again, but wasn't too terrible and back on track now. I ordered some new jeans in the same size as the ones I can just about squeeze into, as an incentive, and I need to send them back. They are too baggy. The waist fits fine, better than the old ones but the legs are huge and they are supposed to be straight leg jeans. I am having the hardest time with clothes lately. I guess that is part of losing weight. I'll just keep wearing what I've been wearing a while longer even though they are baggy too now. Oh well, better baggy than too tight.

I hope you are all doing well. I will catch up with all of you soon.

Good morning.
Cindy don't wait too long to find new clothes. Feeling like you are looking good is such a boost!
Sam glad to see you back. It was starting to get too quiet and I wasn't helping the situation. How is your patio coming along?
Larry keep up the good work.
Terra how are your meals going?
lemc that feeling will soon sort itself out to a healthy level.
I am doing OK but still love sugar more then myself.
I remain determined and with help know I can do this.
Have a healthy day.
